[Fiery Dragon] Counter Collection and BattleBox 4e now available

Just got my Counter Collection and Battlebox today. Awesome! Now I'll be able to save so very much time on making counters (used to print, cut out, glue to something like a wood circle or glass square, and laminate) and put that into the more creative components of DMing. ^.^

My only criticism is that some of the monsters are pretty obvious, ah, "palette swaps" would be the video game term. Like the adult Kruthik is just the young Kruthik, flipped horizontally, scaled up a fraction, and recolored. But I suppose that's nearly inevitable with the sheer volume of artwork that Mr. Pozas produces, ha.

EDIT: Only one player combat tracker? That's a little awkward. Ah well, paper still works.

Yeah, stuff like the kroothiks happen. But when you get the Large kroothik, it's an entirely new image.

When doing similar monsters, I tried my best to add variety instead of simply repeating images. This includes changing hues, weapons, armor, tattoos and whatnot.

Hey Klaus, just got my battleboxes today. Just like the counter collection, you did a great job on the art. Like others, i'll say that the 4E counter collection + 4E battlebox = all you need to play [and then some].

I did have a question; how come the ten or so bonus dungeon tiles that came in "4E counter collection: heroic 1" were double sided, but the dungeon tiles that came in "4E battlebox" aren't?

The pages wth the bonus dungeon tiles in the CC4eH1 were already being printed double-sided, because the the "bloodied" side of creatures, whereas the BBox ones were only being printed one-sided.

So -- double bonus!

(I had no idea they were being printed two-sided, you can thank Jason Kempton for the "bloodied side" stroke of brilliance)

Hey Klaus, in another thread you said something like "depending on how well the counter collection heroic set sells, paragon and epic will be printed", and I was curious...is it possible that we will see both counter collections paragon and epic printed this year?

We plan on sending everything that needs printing to the printer as soon as possible, so yeah, Paragon and Epic in print are very possible.

Just wanted to note that my order arrived the other day and I am impressed. I can quickly seel Ultimate Toolbox and the BattleBox becoming essential utilities for anyone playing 4e.

I just want to say I recieved my order for both the 4E heroic counters and the Battlebox in 7 days and am very pleased! For $70 USD with free shipping it's a heck of a bargin.

The heroic counters are just as they say... thick cardboard like in most board games with great art and the handy bloodied side
Even with soooo many counters, I can't wait for the Paragon and Epic ones...

The Battle box will prove very handy too. The combat tracker looks great, although it would be even more handy if it was printed on both sides. Have two combats ready to go. The pads of power sheets and character sheets are nice.
This product could be broken down into multiple products for folks who would like more of somethings or are only looking for certain items. Not sure if that's feasible, but maybe something to think about.

I do have some suggestions though...
For the Battle box, include 6 character trackers. This way you have enough for a complete party.
In fact I think you could sell packs of these as a separate product!

I gave this exact feedback to Jason Kempton, at Klaus's suggestion. Go ahead and email him! Maybe if enough customers express interest in such a thing, it'll look viable for a print run.

Heck I wanted more action point and bloodied counters.
