I don't know if this has been posted already, but in anticipation for the 4e conversion of the War of the Burning Sky campaign, I was wondering how the name "Ragesia" was pronounced?

I personally pronounce it with a hard "g" - "Rag easier", but only Rangerwickett knows for sure!

Congratulations. You just got me to spend 2 minutes saying the word over and over, pondering just which A sound I'm using.

The key thing is, it's "ra" with that soft u sorta sound (not hard A), "ge" with a hard g (not a j sound), and "sia" like . . . well, I'm pretty sure there's only one way to pronounce it. The obvious way. Plus the stress is obviously on the middle syllable.

It's rah - GEE - zhuh, not ray - JEE - zhuh. But the 'rah' goes different ways.

After 10 minutes with Wikipedia to track down the proper characters to copy/paste...

rə-GĒ-zhə (Hera, gamble, and Polynesia)

or rä-GĒ-zhə (hurrah, instead of Hera)

or rĕ-GĒ-zhə (regulate instead of Hera)

Asmor was closest, I'd say. :)

I was actually sounding "sia" like, "see-a' ... to my ear, with a hard g and a stress on the second syllable, that just sounds better. Anyways, to my ear.
