The best myconid picture ever though is this:

I'm not so sure. This kind of raises the grind alert level to Orange for me:
Dual Mind
Any creature that attacks an assassin must make two attack rolls and use the lower result.

To my mind this is clearly an error. Thematically and mechanically it should be "Any creature that attacks an assassins Will defence must make two attack rolls and use the lower result". This would then be a cool power reflecting the dual quori nature of the inspired assassin, two minds in one body and all that.

Regards,

So with Oath of Emnity do you have to roll 4 times and take the highest of the lower roll?

Hm... how do you combine "take the higher of two rolls" and "take the lower of two rolls", when they apply to the same roll? Roll three dice and take the middle one?

Under the Oath of Enmity description:
"If an effect forces you to roll twice and use the lower result when making an attack roll, this power has no effect on that attack either."

Which I interpret as, any power that makes you roll twice and take the lower result, has no effect on Oath of Enmity. You still roll twice and take the higher result.

Quite the contrary.

"If an effect forces you to roll twice and use the lower result when making an attack roll, this power (Oath of Enmity) has no effect on that attack (the one mentioned on the previous sentence) either."

"Roll twice, take highest" and "Roll twice, take lowest" supercede Oath of Enmity's "Roll twice, choose result".

Talk about a sentence that is easy to read both ways...

Not really, if we read the entire paragraph:

"If another effect lets you roll twice and use the higher result when making an attack roll, this power has no effect on that attack. If an effect forces you to roll twice and use the lower result when making an attack roll, this power has no effect on that attack either."

Clearly, the term "this power" refers to Oath of Enmity, because it's written in the Oath's power description. If it meant the "roll again, take higher/lower" effect, it'd say "this effect".

My thoughts exactly. I was very excited by the old school vibe I got off of it.

I really dig everything about the myconid art *except* for the forward facing eyes, which almost kill it for me.

Myconids are fungi from the deepest region of the underdark. What purpose do eyes or eyespots serve? Give 'em blindsense, remove the eyes, and be done with it. It's dragon boobs all over again. Granted, there are some photo-sensing fungi out there, but they don't "see" the light, rather it usually triggers some form of reproduction.
