UK Gamers: Tell Us about Your Character and Win a Trip to Gen Con!

Hello, UK gamers--

Fancy a trip to Gen Con this summer? Well, here's a little promotion we've put together for D&D here in the UK that gives you just that chance:

Tell us about your character, and you could win a trip to Gen Con in the US this August, or one of a bunch of other cool prizes!

We’re looking for the most interesting conversions of 3rd-edition characters to 4th edition, and we’re holding a promotion to find them. If you enter, you could win a trip to Gen Con in the US, autographed copies of the Player’s Handbook 2 and Monster Manual 2, or a 3-month subscription to D&D Insider.

Helping us out with this are some great judges, including EN World's own Russ Morrissey and D&D Creative Manager Chris Perkins. But the judges simply narrow the field--the public will vote for the final winner.

To find out how you can submit your character, visit Tell Me About Your Character. You’ll find all the details plus terms and conditions for the promotion. But don’t dawdle: To be considered, your submission must reach us by Friday, 12 June, 2009.

We look forward to hearing about your character! (No, really!)

Just the encouragement I need to persuade my Savage Tide players to get converting there characters. They were all 11th level in 3rd Ed, and I've told them they can be 16th in 4th. So far only one of them has converted their character.

Still since I haven't completed converting the campaign yet I suppose I shouldn't complain too much.... :uhoh:

Hold on.... I've not got a character because I was DM... :.-(

Do you except converted NPCs?

So, have you told us about your character?

If not, you're missing your shot at a free trip to Gen Con in the US this August.

You have less than two weeks to submit your entry, and stake your claim to the Best Four Days in Gaming. I have the passes right here at my desk, and they could soon be yours--but only if you Tell Us about Your Character!

Your entry needs to reach us by Friday, 12 June. All the info you need is right here.
