Life Siphon: daily or encounter?

This sixth level warlock power is listed as an encounter power in Arcane Power. However, both in the CB and in the Compendium it is listed as a daily power.

Is there an error both in the CB and the compendium? Or was the power changed? The update for AP makes no mention of this power.

There are a lot of shadow errata or mistakes in the CB (Depending on who you believe) I wuld go with the book until there is an official FAQ errata for AP.

It is impossible to know if CB is an error or shadow errata.

What I have found is if the compendium differs from the books and it is as a result of errata the compendium entry will cite that (see purple worm as a example). If the compendium and the corresponding book are different and there is no errata tag on the compendium listing, follow the book and send a "submit bugs & feedback" report. The difference is usually fixed in the next update.

For what it's worth, I'd peg it at about the power level of an encounter ability.

As people have said, unless a difference from the books is marked as errata, consider it a bug.

I'm always put off by the bug report form... it looks like it's designed to report technical glitches and not mistakes in the implementation of the rules. For instance, one of the mandatory portion is about the steps needed to "reproduce" the bug...

I have heard enough about it to not be convinced there is no stealth errata.
