Has anyone tried this? And what was your 4th?

- Beastmaster Ranger (Striker)
- Shaman (Leader)
- Summoner Wizard (Controller)
- Some Arcane class with a Familiar? (Swordmage -> Defender)?

Cheers, -- N

I'm just waiting to see the shenannigans of a ranged party that all has multiclassed into shaman to use them as blocker pets ;)

Both the beastmaster and the wizard could probably put a feat towards that.

Defender -> Dragonborn Swordmage with dragonling familiar.

Yeah, the shaman MC feat is really neat for the purpose of having extra blockers on the field.

I have a Rashemi Wychlaran LFR character that took it. A summoner wizard. Her spirit and all her summons take the form of winged monkeys. Will probably also take a familiar when she has spare feats.

A witch from the (unapproachable) east with flying monkeys. Not everyone gets it.

There's a guy that I've run across at game days that has a 6th level fighter with a Giant Lizard Mount. When he uses Rain of Blows, his mount gets an attack for each one he makes, making 8 attacks total in one round. Then he uses a power jewel and does it again the following round (or the same round with an action point).

Pretty ridiculous. Effective, but ridiculous.

Wow, that would be a high-control party.

Dunno how useful it'd be except as blockers, but in a 2-square wide hallway, you could certainly keep some foes from advancing or retreating.

One thing that makes them even more effective blockers: they can't be bull rushed, since they're not creatures. For most similar-level enemies, they're quite hard to kill. At least they don't provide cover to the party when enemies shoot over them.
