Hey DDI devs, whats up with this?

Ok, I tried sending this in through the WoTC email, but can't because I have to log in over and over and over again first... so I'm posting it here because it's easier.

Whats up with this? (see attached screenshot)

Can you fix it, or tell me how to change my computer so it no longer happens?

I'm going to assume you've already cleared your cache and cookies? If not, try that first. I'm going to guess it's a problem with your browser, not with the site.

If that doesn't work - maybe try a different browser? I use Firefox for 95% of my stuff, but I've found that Google Chrome handles the DDI content the best.

My cache and cookies auto clear every time I close my browser, so this problem created itself out of a mostly empty amount of info.

I remember using firefox once. I can't remember why I didn't like it... maybe I'll give it another shot.

This happened to me some days after I upgraded my subscription from 3 months to a year. When my 3 month ran out, despite having the year sub, my subscription stopped working. I replied to an email I had been sent regarding the upgrade, and they fixed the problem right away.

Being logged in does not mean that your subscription is up to date.

my orriginal subscription ends in October though, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Edit: it seems to be working perfectly with Google Chrome.

It was a lie. I made a monster, hit "Click here to reset this" and was locked out as if I didn't have a subscription. This makes me upset.

I've just purchased a new laptop and am experiencing the same problem. It's enormously frustrating being unable to access content that I've paid for.

I upgraded my subscription from monthly to yearly last weekend, and I had a similar-ish issue on Thursday night. I could open up the Compendium and search, but when I tried to open up the details on one of the results, it just kept asking for my user-name and password.

But when I tried again yesterday, before e-mailing them, it was working fine. So maybe it is issues at their end too.

If you're having a problem with your account, go here: www.wizards.com/customerservice and click the 'Email Us' tab.

If you get an error message when you try that, look at this thread: Trouble Accessing our Help System? Post here. - Wizards Community

If you are in the USA, or feel like spending money on international calls, WotC also have a customer service telephone number. See here: Answer for all contact details (the 800 number is (800) 324-6496 and the international number is (425) 204-8069 -- remember Skype gives free Skype-out calls to US- and Canada- based 800 numbers even if you're not in North America).

I'd suggest manually going in to clear your ddi cookies, and manually dumping your cache. It isn't uncommon for the latest version of Firefox to have some weird cookie-related corruption. Can't hurt, at least.
