This is an entire world. There are several pantheons of gods for clerics to choose from. The setting allows for play as anything. Lycanthropes and undead may have a particular role in one nation or another but there are many nations, thus the need for an entire 200 page book to describe them all. As far as character classes for lycanthropes, there is already a dragon magazine with monster classes for them. The same is true of Libris Mortis for undead, though I plan to build on both. A new mosnter class will be available on the website for a were-panther. As far as the image on the main page, that is a place known as the Twilight Wood on the continent of Slarinka. It is a place that draws energy from the elemental plane of water. This energy causes the fruit on the trees to glow with a soft light, thus the name. It is also the home of the Twilight gnomes, named for thier homeland. These gnomes have been feeding off of the fruit and drinking the water for generations, inheriting some of the elemental magic.
Valshari elves are elves decended from Drow. They are not chaotic by nature having been long seperated from the drow goddess and her priestesses.
Everything in the world has a story behind it. It is up to the player (or GM) to determine whether that history is utilized or not.
As far as the content for DMs to run compaigns and players to play them, that is what the open play testing is all about. A simple form to be filled out detailing the group and their preferences so I know what continent to give the group.
