So, I'm moving to a new apartment, which means I may not be around as much in the next few days. I'll see if I can approve some more characters while I still have stable internets.

meh, I've lived in southern cali for pretty much my entire life, except for the 5 years I was in the Active Duty Air Force and was stationed in Virginia and Misawa, Japan, so I'll admit that I'm a complete weather wuss, lol. VA had both warm summers and snowy winters, but it was nothing compared to the sweltering summers and icy winters of Misawa (which is in the northern part of the Aomori Prefecture for anyone in the know).

I was rereading through this thread to double check when we can propose new sources and realized a concensus was never reached. It may have been because we added a pair of judges or it may have got lost with SGs "we're started" announcement. Either way it doesn't matter. The wiki says 3 months after the source is released.

The proposal(s) were 1 month after released on DDI or 2 weeks after released on DDI. If we could get a revote here to make sure everybody is on the same page that would be great.

My vote is for 2 weeks after the DDI update.

My vote is 2 weeks after DDI update. I see no reason to wait any longer. It's most likely been a month after release and the CO boards will have had plenty of time to find any broken feats/powers.

The only issue I see it that people that don't have DDI will have NO idea when they can propose things. On the other hand it's easy for everyone to know how long it's been since the material was released.

2 weeks after DDI is roughly 1 month after the book comes out (most books come out mid-month, DDI is updated the first of the following month).

I'm pretty sure we got a majority vote for 1 month after DDI. I'll check later. Still moving....

For those who don't know, DDI is updated on the first tuesday of every month and it includes content from the previous months Dragon/Dungeon material and from any book(s) that were released in the previous month. Sorry if this has already been stated, just thought I'd let the non-DDI-ers know.

Indeed. And on top of that, Wizards posts a non-Insider (Outsider?) article outlining what goes into the Character Builder and Compendium that day. Here's August's:

August 2009 D&D Character Builder & D&D Compendium News

I'm looking forward to creating a character over here, but I'm likely to wait until Divine Power is available (mmmm.... paladin). So when L4Eb allows Divine Power is of import to me. :)

Ah... No it isn't. If you follow the link Garyth posted, it would seem that the next patch is the 8th of september. Unless my math is WAY off, that sounds like the second tuesday of the month. :p

Interesting article, but where did you find it? Since I can't log in to wizards I haven't visited there in ages and I have no clue where things are.

I have the official Wizards D&D RSS feed on my iGoogle. It's by far the easiest way to catch new content going up.

Generally, the 1st Tuesday is the DDI update day. Maybe something funky happened to the schedule in September due to Labor Day?
