AKAIK, it won't even attempt to translate whatever ruleset the video game uses. It'll be its own, brand new, thing ruleswise.
There seems to be more than one similarity between DA and FFGs upcoming WFRP game though boxed intro sets that look good and cost much both

You can always check out the Bioware Dragon Age website for information on the video game that may be translated over. They just opened a Knowledge thingee (I forget the exact name

I actually think a more worthwhile site is (or at least, will be) Green Ronin's Dragon Age site. Video game info is nice of course, but probably not directly relevant to the rpg crunchwise...

I don't disagree. However, in the absence of information from GR, the only place where you might get information about the game is from Bioware. Especially as far as the setting goes, which they talk about a lot on the boards, officially.
I'm not quite sure what info you'd need on the setting, since it's the same old boring midieval Europe AN ANCIENT EVIL AWAKENS kinda thing

That said, I agree that, at best, it's going to be just an alternative to standard D&D. It won't be lighting the world on fire, it'll just be a variant system for playing the exact same kind of game.
