Weapons as implements

I could have sworn somewhere there was a feat that allowed you to use a weapon of your choice as an implement of your choice. Any ideas?

Dunno, I would love for there to be a rule that says that if you worship a God of the War domain, that you can use any weapon as an implement...

Is there a divine weapon as implement feat?

Any weapon that any Arcane class uses as an implement. Current list is daggers, light blades and heavy blades.

And staff.

But, as well, there are weapons that act as implements for various classes, or act as holy-symbols as well as their general weaponness.

Depends on what you're trying to do here.

What class? What weapon? Why?

I was trying to determine if an artificer can use a crossbow (or a spiked shield) as his implement. Not for any particularly destructive combo, just so they wouldn't have to magically have 4 arms.

I'm waiting 'til they let me use a crossbow as an implement, so I can use two fisted shooter to fire acid orbs on a crit. As an aside, does that work? If you can use a weapon as an implement, and you're allowed to make a basic attack with that weapon, can you use a basic at-will instead?

Most (if not all) arcane classes have at-wills that say "this power can be used as a basic ranged attack."

I know Eldritch Blast, Acid Orb and Dragonfrost off the top of my head, though I'm sure there are others.
