Hmm... could be interesting. Not quite sold on it as a TV series yet..

I am not holding out a lot of hope here, given what they did to A Wizard of Earthsea. SciFi (or Syfy) just doesn't have a great track record on turning books into miniseries in my eyes.

I didn't care for their first take on it at all. Maybe because I'm such a fan of the books, but it just didn't get the feel or sense of the books to me at all.

There were way too many "liberties" taken with the first SyFy version of Riverworld. I'm a huge fan of all the books and was actually physically angry about the atrocious film version.

After reading the books the first one was fine. I think if they tried to do a true adaption it wouldn't work that well on TV.

Well, I like a lot of the actors in this, so I'll give it a look, but Syfy has really really really earned its reputation of making movies that deserve expletives, so I'll have to see who's writing and directing this before I'll have any hope at all for quality.

First one was a disappointment and SyFy has not impressed me too much in their movies or mini-series. Kind of wish it was HBO doing this.

Trailer has be hooked, at least for the first Season.

The books are really excellent, I highly recommend them.
