Upon further consideration, I've decided to do a little tweaking of the character.

Behold Tavar in his Hybrid Glory. As a Cleric|Invoker, he has all of the "Behold Erathis's Wrath!" with a little bit of "But she likes you guys" for my allies.

btw great idea picking Battle Intuition a solid feat right there with your stats.

Unfortunately, as a Hybrid I don't get any Channel Divinity unless I take the Hybrid Talent feat. At this point I'm not sure if I'm going to take it, and when I do, I only get the choices of Turn Undead, Divine Fortune, or Armor of Wrath (No Healer's Mercy :.-( ).

And as far as the differences because I am Hybrid -
I only get one Healing Word per encounter, not two.
I don't get Channel Divinity.
I only get the armor and weapons that both classes share.
I can use either class's implements for both sets of powers.
When I start getting additional Encounter, Daily, and Utility spells, I have to balance them between the classes.

Other than that, I'm a pretty even split of the two classes. I get my Covenant Manifestation (extra damage for each creature targeted), Healer's Lore (Wis to healing), and that's about it.

I thought that, when WotC put out a second article on Hybrid characters, they said that you got one Hybrid Talent feat free?

You do... if you go with a Paragon Hybrid. Also, Worguron, you don't have to actually balance your powers. You just have to have at least one of each type from both classes... so you need one cleric and one invoker encounter power, but you don't have to alternate or anything.

I tried making a hybrid Fighter|Barbarian, but... well, it's kinda gimped. It has great power choices, but the lack of features makes it lousy. It has worse AC than the Barb (No Barb Agility, and no Fighter armor), can't mark worth crap, and you have to spend a feat to get any one feature. (I think if you could get to Paragon and take Battlerager Vigor and Rageblood Vigor it might start rocking, though.)

LIke I said, I don't like that aspect of hybrid characters - I think class features really distinguish the classes, and hybrids take the class features out. Fighters should be able to mark with any power, and rogues should get their SA on basic attacks, y'know?

Hence the reason I picked classes who got their good class features in their hybrid versions. Sure, no Channel Divinity inherently, but oh well.

yea one of the combos ive found that works ok is rogue/ranger because you basically always get always your quary or back stab damage off.

Alright... I've changed my mind. I'm sorry, but I won't play a Seeker after all. I got distracted by the shiny newness of it, but it's not my thing. My play experience so far says I won't enjoy it, and I'd rather play something I would like from the start. I'm almost certainly going to get bored and want to switch (I always have so far with a character like it), and I don't want to do that.

So, I'd like to switch to Barbarian. Which no, isn't a defender. But I've played one before and loved it, and they can be surprisingly sturdy. Sometimes.

current party

lexoanvil - Revenant Assassin/multi-class avenger (striker with control aspects)
ppaladin123 - Dragonborn Paladin(defender with leader aspects)
Christopher Robin - human barbarian(striker )
RathWolf - Shaman (leader)
worguron- deva cleric/invoker(leader/control)
???? -????
