Finding the violent muse

Get her in the mood, and then give her a chance to use it. If you watch the Matrix just before the game, for instance, she should have some kind of access to bullet time before the thrill wears off.

Personally, my characters tend to be "I have a hammer; everything is a nail" sorts, so not being violent enough is not usually an issue.

Oh, and make sure she "looks cool" when she's blowing stuff up. One gun is good, two is better, for instance.

If we're going to recommend movies portraying characters intended to inspire a violent HERO we probably shouldn't use psychopaths and horror flicks as the inspiration.

Unless, of course, you're looking to give the player a character to WANT to inflict violence on. But, for an example of a "Violent Hero" take Riddick. He's more an anti-hero, I suppose, but he protects those in his care(except those who are jerkoffs to him or plain stupid), and kills anyone who gets in the way of his goal(usually).

Another example could be Mal from Firefly and Serenity. In one movie, he has a signature line where he states that his sin was 'Wrath'. Granted, Mal's usual response isn't violence. Whereas Jayne tends to be very much a 'Shoot first, ask questions later' kind of guy.
