Best Undersea Supplements?

Second the 2e blue book ('Of Ships and The Sea'?). I've got some good use out of that. And 'Death Beneath the Waves' - good value, that. :)

The Sea of Fallen Stars was essentially an entire underwater campaign set in the eponymous region in FR during AD&D period. While ruleswise it was weak, it certainly has a lot of material for inspiration on the societies of underwater races.

Thanks for the recommendations! :D

Besides the 2E "The Sea Devils" which of those sources has good info on Sahuagin? They are my primary antagonists (of course).

"The Sea Devils" is the penultimate D&D supplement regarding sahuagin, IMO. If you have that one, you would never need another, though I believe Mongoose released a Slayers Guide to Sahuagin many moons ago. I wish Skip Williams had written similar supplements for ixitxachitl and morkoth.

If you ever need to incorporate aboleth into your game, you can get a plethora of ideas from "Lords of Madness" (WoTC).

In my current undersea campaign, the party is in the region of The Sinking Isle, home to sahuagin and kraken.

I borrowed a bit from the shalarin race, in that book. I made my locathah a hermaphroditic race with a caste system based on skin coloration and patterning (they are colored in a similar fashion to larger saltwater angelfish).

If you add in overseas stuff like sailing, pirates, floating cities, island lairs, blah, blah, blah, of course, that opens up a huge arena of great 3PP OGL/d20 products.

What are the better 3.0/3.5 era undersea oriented books?
Okay, so it's not a gaming book, but I find this one invaluable: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Ocean-American-Museum-Natural-History/dp/0756636922/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b"]OCEAN[/ame]

Even though it was 2e, if you can find Of Ships and the Sea you're in luck- that was the best aquatic book published, imho. Very cool, with a lot of good info about the underwater environment that hasn't been seen again in anything that I've seen.
