Are you serious? That shot made the trailer for me. It just screams A-Team.

Yes, it's ridiculous and over the top, but that's what it's supposed to be. :D
It's about commitment. Commitment that's utterly devoid of chagrin.

For a long time folks thought that when you were presenting an audience with an outlandish premise, you had to go the Adam West Batman route: wink at the audience constantly, play it all up as camp, act like it's all a big shared joke.

Now Hollywood seems to be getting it. Don't smirk. Keep a straight face. Move fast, be cool, and people will have trouble making fun of you even when you're doing something outlandish.

I think it's just hard to have someone play the same role that Mr T did. Mr T was an original who was over-the-top. Having someone play a copy of him just feels... well second-hand.

There was a rumor that actor/rapper IceCube was going for the part of B.A. I think he would have fit the bill better IMO. Not a far stretch from the movie XXX: State of the Union

But... XXX:SotU was one of the most foul travesties ever put on film.

I like Ice Cube in some roles, but frankly, I'm glad he's nowhere near this movie.

As long as the movie has a hotair balloon escape engineered from hair dryers, garbage bags, lawn chairs, and duct tape, I'll be happy.

For me, the tough one is going to be filling Dwight Schultz's shoes.

I think all 4 of the original A-Team actors were pretty much perfect for their roles. It's going to be tough for the movie actors to get the characters and the group chemistry right.

Edit- I should mention I mean the 4 actors that made the original series. I'm glad they recast the role of Face after the pilot episode because Tim Dunigan didn't work.
