my guess is yes, same root cause.

(though I'd swear when i read this post yesterday it said "tagging threads read = broken db error", but it must have been my sleepiness combined with just having read the other thread - sorry )

I'm getting this error too.

I have all my Kulan threads tagged so I can always find them. With this error, they are basically gone unless I can get them bumped by somebody else, who has search (unless that's not working either).

That may help with Kulan, which is a fairly specific term, but a similar search on "greyhawk" at google offers up a lot more threads, including many that aren't tagged such as http://www.enworld.org/forum/d-d-4t...lish-d-d-4th-edition-adventures-greyhawk.html for example

Being able to find just-tagged threads is pretty helpful, when the tags used are in broader/more general usage.
