PHB3 Excerpts: what are you hankering for?

Personally, I'm dying to see a preview of a strength-build monk. I've been dying for that ever since the first monk preview. It's not that I mind the Wis-build, but I have an iconic monk character that never worked in 3.x because he was Str-focused so I can't wait to build him up in 4e.

What are you looking forward to seeing as the excerpts in DDI roll out?

Nothing and everything, at the same time.

Nothing because really, I'm not hungering for new classes, hybrid rules, or skill utility powers. While those things are nice, theyr'e really just another layer of complexity that I don't really need.

Everything because the PHB3 is the prelude to something I've been hungering for since, oh, 1998 or so - an "official" release of DARK SUN material. So... yeah.

Runepriest. We know little about it. I'm really curious how it's different from the Str cleric, and if that's its only schtick.

Also really curious about superior implements.

Nothing.

But looking forward to see the finished book. Especially the hybrid rules sound interesting (multiclassing was definitely one thing missing in D&D4E at the beginning, and this at least somewhat brings it back).

Yes, sometimes I wonder is the insane amount of previewing is not eating the seed.

I have decided not to buy the book because I do not see the need for anything that has been previewed.

Once MPII and Dark Sun are bought, the rules are done for me, I am 90% sure. I will still buy dungeon tiles (definitely) some miniatures (probably) and adventure stuff (maybe) form WOTC.

And that is saying a lot as I have really liked psionics since 2nd ed, but I am not impressed at all with them this time around.

So as for previews, whatever is fine with me.

Forgot the shardmind! Yeah. I'm still chomping at the bit to find out if they're Con/Wis or what.

Definitely looking forward to the shardmind and runepriest. I'm also looking forward to seeing a full picture of psionics, and hope that it doesn't deviate too fully from prior editions (though I bet it does).

I thought someone posted a pic of a shardmind, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where that is? Am I imagining things?
