Hehe I noticed that one too.

But upon further investigation, it seems to be because there was no picture in the 1e MM... I guess they were afraid we'd go blind... or die.

But then again there were plenty of pictures in the 2e timespan for an early teen boy to possibly cause blindness with (if old wives tales were true at least... )
