D&D 3E/3.5 Did the chitine and meazel ever get a 3e version?

I'm looking around for a 3e version of the chitine and meazel, did they ever earn a 3e version? If so, which books were they? Thanks!

Yes, both are in Monstrous Compendium: Monsters of Faerun, a monster supplement for Forgotten Realms that came out shortly before the 3rd Edition Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting.

The latest version of the Chitine is found in Underdark, superseding the MoF version (there's even some support in the form of a PrC and the like). Meazels haven't been further explored after MoF.

Hmm, nice! I forgot about that there. I got choices then. It'll take some staring at the Underdark version to get my head around putting those abilities into monster statblock form, but I might just pull from the MoF for when I don't need a named-creature.
