D&D 3.x 3.5 Monster Manual Yuan-ti errata

The errata says to remove the 2nd sentence from the Yuan-ti Alternate Form description.

So is it saying that the ability does not work like Polymorph at all? I'm not sure I understand the errata, because if I ignore the second sentence, then I'm assuming that it doesn't work like Polymorph. If it doesn't work like Polymorph, then how do I know what abilities & qualities stay with the Yuan-ti in Viper form?

Or does the errata just mean that I should ignore the part about not regaining hitpoints when changing form?

All references to polymorph have been removed from the books to make it easier to remove it from the game and forget it ever existed. You'd have to look at the complete errata to get the complete picture (doh!).
Several people have also created a new write-up of everything that was once connected with polymorph. I'm sure you'll find one if you seach for it ('polymorph errata').

I can't find any polymorph errata. I do keep seeing references to "Easy to Read Polymorph Errata": Character Optimization links

but the link to that page no longer works on the WotC site.

Easy to read Polymorph Errata: Don't.

Or just leave a blank page as the Polymorph errata? :p

I guess I don't really need to know about Polymorph as far as the Yuan-ti are concerned. I actually forgot that I had a very good errata document on the "Alternate Form" ability.

So I realize that I can ignore the MM errata description for Yuan-ti and refer to my Alternate Form errata description. :D
