Race Character Optimisation: Just Choose Dwarf

Dwarven weapon training doesn't rely on Wis, the whole path of hammer feats (which do all sorts of damage) rely on Con, the whole slew of second wind related feats don't rely on Wis. I could go on. Really.
These are all true, but they're as true for Battleminds as they are for Fighters.

Dwarves' Fighter-specific perks are mostly Wisdom-based.

The dwarf also makes an excellent warlord...bravura, ranged-skirmisher (with the wisdom to healing feat and a crossbow), or melee insightful (with the wisdom to healing feat).

They'll be seriously tough little barbarians too!

Sadly, I agree, I like the numbers the dwarf brings, but I hate their flavor. They're like, the sum total of everything stereotyped about the Irish.

I wonder where this comes from?

So (and again, we are stereotyping) they are musical, like green, likely to be unemployed with lots of children...

Scottish is better.

But german or scandanavian is still best.

I just wonder about the human. I mean, it would be sort of neat if people actually played them again.

I also wonder (but don't care as much) about the eladrin. If elves got +2 to int or wis, what would be the point?

I thought they were meant to be vaguely Scottish. Flavor is easy enough to alter anyway. I mean look at the cannibal halflings in Dark Sun or the creepy police state gnomes of Eberron.

I'm guessing they'll give the eladrin the option for +2 cha since it goes nicely with the warlock's fey pact, with illusions/charm, psions, wizards, and bards. Basically they'll play up the fey angle.
