A richly dressed halfling half steps, half falls into the inn, a buxom halfling wench under each arm. He appears to be telling the ladies a story. "... an' then the 'ntire mountain... 'sploded! Woosh! Nuthin' left but Ogrin -- that'd be yours truly -- an' his stalwart...."

The halflings stagger to a halt in the middle of the common room. The one who spoke looks up at the inns customers and attempts to focus his vision as he finishes the sentence:

"...friends."

Eanos laughs. "Now I know you've a charm, Irene," he says. "I think the only Monemvassian knight we're missing now is Tenebrynn. Good to see you again, Ogrin!"

Nurlan greets the halfling with a warm smile. "Ogrin, welcome to our unplanned reunion. I was just telling Irene here about our adventures together. I'm so glad Irene, who was with us for the goblin hunt, has a chance to meet you and Rasereit and Eanos, who did so much to defeat the would-be usurper. Shall we mark this occasion with a song?" Without waiting for an answer (because for Nurlan, that is never a genuine question), he begins to sing For old friendship's sake.

Irene, charming halfling

"Rinaldo! Oh wow, I can't believe you're still alive after all that adventuring! I figured if the bad guys didn't get you, your wife would! I heard your shop's been quite the success! What a dream come true huh!"

"Hi-hi, I certainly can be charming!" Irene jokes.

"I would only say the dream begin to come true." replies Rinaldo. "I have my shop here, one in Monemvassia. After named knight, I was handed a well place establishment. Sadly, it meant also that I had to trade with Frump, being the court wizard. I also have established a shop in Earling. That one is still small, but as it is on the trade route to Monemvassia, and I already had worked for the king in my early adventure days, I had no problem to establish my shop there."

Rasereit splutters his beer out when he realizes who the halfling is. "Mutt's mange, Ogrin, where've ye been?!" His surprise is quickly overcome by joy. "C'mere, mate, an' share a drink wit' meh. Aye, bring the ge'ls, too. Joe! Four rounds, if ye please! An', ah, sorry 'bout the mess."

"Really, mate, what've ye been doin' all this time? Ah've jes' been wastin' away in this tavern, Ah could do wit' a good tale or two."

Elise Elliom

The front door swings open. A blue and gold Macaw sits upon the shoulder of a silver haired woman. She is easily identified as a wizard by her academy cloak.
Her eyes are sad and a bit more world weary than the last time she walked through those doors.

Elise's eyes dart around the room looking for a familiar face amongst the crowd. When none are apparent, she sighs. "My name is Elise Elliom, Abjurer, Wanderer."

"Ligeia" The bird says it a harsh squawk.

Yes, Well then. Elise finds a seat with a sigh. Sitting down close to a bowl of nuts, she begins to share them with her bird. So... She addressees the crowd.

"Apologies, good lady," a man in well-worn adventuring gear and a sai strapped to one leg says. "We've found ourselves in the midst of an unexpected reunion of old friends, and I lost my manners. Eanos," he says by way of introduction. "Welcome to the Inn from whatever trials milady Ayratha may have sent your way."

Think nothing of it, It's not the first time the Tavern has grown quiet and it won't be the last. Elise give a sad little smile. Where do you hail from, Eanos?
