Picked up the second issue today (came out yesterday) but haven't read it, yet. But it's John Rogers, so I know I'll like it as much as I liked issue #1. There seems to be some confusion between "I don't like it" and "it is objectively terrible".
I'm frankly happy to read a D&D comic that is both funny and reminds me of my own gaming group. Rogers isn't just a comic writer; he's a TV writer, movie writer and most importantly, D&D writer (most recently to the Feywild section of the Manual of the Planes, iirc). Rogers used to have a fantastic story hour here on ENWorld, so he's one of our own. He writes the game with the knowledge of someone who has played and does play it. YMMV and clearly does for some folks...but it got my money and the money of my gaming group.
