Do you think WoTC should be sued?

As mentioned, McDonalds knew their coffee was being served too hot.

Obviously, the lawyers on these boards can tell me how true this is, but I recall the following from a class that I took just after the McDonald's incident. Unlike many nations which regulate heavily upfront, he U.S. tends to be more reactionary and rely on litigation to punish manufacturers and businesses. Less regulation up front keeps costs down for both the government (less inspections) and the manufacturer while the threat of, potentialy, high litigation damages are supposed to encourage manufacturers etc. to protect the consumer. It is when the system beaks down and public or worker safety is seen to be threatend or potentially threatened that more upfront regulations are placed.

Here's the thing - this isn't from "an angry D&D fan's perspective." It is from yours. You are the only one who has raised the suggestion of suing the company. Even if you don't believe in doing so, no one has voiced this idea except yourself - hence why you will be at the receiving end of the negative response to such an idea.
"See, I, uh...have this friend..."

Maybe....

Scientology has taught us that you can sue anyone over anything if you have the money. But even they don't expect to win, they just use it as a tool of harrassement.

So I say if you have hundreds of thousands of dollars to piss away and you don't like hookers and coke, then go for it!

I'm suing you all for not making the posts that I wanted you to! You've caused me emotional distress and made me cry.

And I will sue anyone else who posts in this thread unless they post the post I want them to.

Have you consulted with the Attorney General of London?

Third degree burns to her genitals, perineum and buttocks.

All I have to say on this thread is that you have used suboptimal language in your post. With the frequency that the word seems to show up in monster names in D&D, I believe the perineum can only be referred to on a D&D forum as "taint".

Hee hee... taint. (Am I the only one who deals with this in D&D?)

There are also those who have bought it and were very disappointed with it. Imagine what it would be like if someone sued Wizards for not only 4e (and the changes it made)

I like the changes (and played Holmes/1e/2e/3e); can I sue the people who forced WotC to change the changes, if this hypothetical suit A) was brought to the courts and B) actually succeeded?

Is gamer culture so out of touch of with reality and so incredibly self-centered that we think suing a company for making business decisions we, as consumers, disagree with is justifiable? :(

I think having three separate elf races (Elves, Eladrin, and Drows) isn't such a bad idea, since they are the most popular elf races of elves in fantasy, it's pretty creative IMO.
