Blizzard's Project Titan

I'm sure many of you have heard of Blizzard's upcoming MMO, Project Titan. It's rumored to be an MMOFPS, but that's just speculation. However, in this link here it says something interesting, "So is Blizzard's new MMO going to be sci-fi, near-future, post-apocalyptic, or historical? 'All of those combined!' he said, laughing."

That means this game could possible be similar to the setting of the Rifts RPG, being set in a post-apocalyptic future and have all kinds of genres crossing over. I'd also like it to take elements from other MMOs like Planetside, City of Heroes, and Eve Online, that would certainly be epic!

Or since it is a Blizzard product, it could be that it is a sci-fi setting planned for the near future, that by the time it is actually released will be a historical setting in the post-apocalyptic future.

I kid...kind of. I love Blizzard products and the time they put into them shows in so many ways, but it just takes so long to get release stuff that it goes well past anxious anticipation into anti-climactic apathy.

I wonder if they are planning on stealing the Project Titan from the movie Titan AE? Ripping off Warhammer has made them quite wealthy so snagging something from Joss Whedon might pay out for them.

Also, I have been addicted (at leas temprarily) to every game they have released since Diablo I and Warcraft II so I'm sure they'll think of a clever way of shaking the loose change from my saddle-bags.

My guess is he was being flippant while at the same time avoiding the question.
