[M&M2e] Red Sands Chronicles

Seif begins to run down the steps and as he reaches the next landing he turns the corner ....
Seif Notce: 22 vs 14

[sblock= Seif]...and sees another robotic crab rounding the corner at the next landing.
[/sblock]

Seif quickly ducks back onto the landing, unnoticed.

OOC: The elevator is on floor "0". Stairs 1 is between Floor 0 and Landing 1. Stairs 2 is between Landing 1 and Landing 2. Stairs 3 is between Landing 2 and 3, etc. It takes 1 round to go from landing to landing safely (2 actions at 30 ft. move), Anything faster then you will need to make an acrobatics or athletics roll not to fall. It should be noted that the Floor 2 should be after "Landing 3" (Elder stated that the bunker is 5 stories down).

[sblock=Round 4 Initiative]
Group 1: PCS
........Brian, Landing 1
........Seif, Landing 2
........Deezy, Landing 1

........Sahid, Landing 1

Group 2: ???

Group 3: Robot Crabs

[sblock=Round 4 Status Update]
Crab Robot 01: Powered Down (at Stairs 2).

Brian Shaughnessy

Brian, after doing his best to seal the elevator door, makes his way down behind Seif, sticking to shadows and regulating his own temperature to help hide his presence. As Seif pulls back from the corner, Brian presses himself up against the wall and holds position

OOC: Back and catching up. Thanks for running Brian in my absense, BF. I don't believe I have to re-roll stealth every round if Brian's not making an attack, but I'll do so if you like.

Brian's Ice Slick power is ranged and shapeable. Can he actually apply it around a corner, then, if it starts in range of him, or does the entire area need to be in line of effect?

One, gestured Seif. Point to the previous crab robot. He looked back and calmly locked eyes with Deezy, then Sahid, saying nothing...

OOC: See previous plan proposal. :)

OOC: Are we talking about the 'flood the stairwell' plan? Brian already welded the elevator door, I believe?

ooc: Yes and no. You would have to perceive where the ice slick is going.. So as long as you can see where it is going (even if through a series of mirrors) then it won't go around a corner then suddenly stop after a few inches to one or two feet.

OOC: The elevator latch is welded, yes. This new crab robot is further downstairs from us though, so Seif is proposing either 1. the flooding plan or 2. the DRUID with Seif Defklecting plan. Dealer's choice. :)

OOC: What if the dealer chooses DEATH by incompetent robo-crab! :D. Anyways, isn't it Voda Vosa and Shayuri 's turn? Or shall I auto pilot them into position?

OOC: You can autopilot me for a few days, I'm returning from Canada after six months, so my life is going to be hectic for a few days. Spread the word!

(OOC - Sorry!)

Deezy stares uncomprehendingly at Seif, trying to make sense of his strange moon-language gestures.

So...he's holding a finger up, then pointing at the crab, then looking at Sahid? So...step 1 of his plan involves the crab. Step 2 must be for Sahid, but he doesn't hold 2 fingers up so... Okay maybe that's the second part of step 1! So the crab...he wants the crab to do something to Sahid. Or Sahid to do something to the crab. But wait, he looked at me too...

After a long moment of brow-furrowing, Deezy finally shakes her head and says to Seif, "Okay, I give up. What are you trying to do?"

OOC: Looking over the power, I'm not sure Ottoman can flood the tunnel, inasmuch as water control has the same restrictions as Brian's Ice Slick: he'd have to be able to see down the next level of the tunnel in order to push water down it. I think?
