Help! Advice for things to include in a low-level AD&D adventure

Me and my big mouth.

So I offered to whip up an adventure for tomorrow night, in lieu of our usual Savage Worlds scifi campaign. Jokingly, I suggested AD&D, a system I haven't run in 20+ years (14 years, if you consider 2e as AD&D, which I kinda do).

It proved a popular suggestion, so here goes nothing!

I'm thinking of starting with 2nd level PC's. What should I include? I know there has to be a player-solved trap, maybe a riddle, a map scribbled on graph paper, maybe the chance to purchase hirelings....

I'm thinking of using AD&D + Unearth Arcana + bits of 2e (NWP's, kits -- if I can find any of my splatbooks).

Any help would be appreciated!

Grab a pdf from one of the publishers publishing for classic D&D.

I hear 'The Grinding Gear' is a pretty good low level module.
