Your class and level, hit points, alignment, base attack bonus, and base save bonuses all remain the same.

So I've always seen it ruled that polymorphing into a bigger creature means your gear sizes with you (if the new form is capable of wearing/using it), and if it leaves your possession, it goes back to normal size.
