Mother of Monsters

What should the rest of her form have in its description. I was thinking that the human form also has iron-like claws, glowing yellow eyes with slits. and a triple row sharp fang-like teeth Small growths of bone, almost like the tines of a crown, are found around her head. I am not sure what her human form should wear. The description below is what I have some far on her human form's appearance.

Hauathon is a heavily pregnant woman. Monstrous black bat wings flare from her back. The joints of the wings are laced with razorlike claws and adorned with jewelry. The wings crest three and-half feet higher than the shoulders and have a wingspan of twenty-one feet. Massive segmented horns start at the front of where her hairline stars and move over hers head, to the back of her skull where they extend outward, curl, and come to a point. Her thick semi-prehensile ten feet long tail tapers to a thin whip that end in a barbed stinger. The legs end in large splayed feet with three clawed toes.

I think that she should not be hermaphroditic, but rather perpetually pregnant. I kind of like the idea that she takes in DNA/Essence whatever, and retools it. I don't remember any reference to how Echidna did it, but she popped out hundreds, possibly thousands of chimeric creatures. If this creature is to be a challenge on her own, then why not have her resemble Tiamat, ala D&D? She could change shape for more subtle, character-interaction-driven encounters, becoming like a succubus, or even more humanoid, perhaps to the point of becoming what the perceiver views as the most innocuous for the situation, yet still useful for her purposes. This could be in a quest on her part for more fodder for her children's twisted forms.
As to combat, perhaps she uses gathered traits to change shape again? She can do this as a reaction to what hits her, but it takes away other options that might be used for other purposes. At least, until she gets hit with those other needs.
The huge head reminds me of the catoblepas, whose gaze was so hideous that it killed, but whose neck was so weak that it couldn't lift its head very easily, as it was so huge.
The descriptions you've given us seem to make her look like a dragon of some sort, but I don't think that would be what she looked like all the time. I think it should relate directly to what she is trying to do.
Is she GROSSLY pregnant, or just visibly so? And, are you married to the idea that she ALWAYS looks like that?

The following description is what I originally had her human form looking like. IIRC Echinda had Typhoon as her mate. I would not mind her having multiple heads in human/humanoid. If I went with something like Tiamat from D&D I would go with a thesslamonster. The more I think I about what if her other form is that of a monster?

A statuesque heavily pregnant woman walks in, moving with both surety and seduction. There is something sexy about the way she carries herself, a hidden power to her movements, but covered by a demure façade. Monstrous black leathery wings flare from her back. On the top of both wings is a two inches long curved claw. The joints of the wings are laced with razorlike claws and adorned with jewelry. The wings crest three and-half feet higher than the shoulders and have a wingspan of twenty-one feet. Her red hair has plenty of curls with the front tresses framed closer to her face. The hair descends down her back down to the ground. In both bat-like ears she wears two small silver earrings. Her perfectly shaped red brows lead to her narrow upturned nose and thick lashes that bat sweetly over her milky white almond shaped eyes. Her eye pierce you as you gaze into them. They seem to draw you in, yet your soul protests. Her bow-shaped lips deceive her authority. She wears a gorgeous silver heart shaped necklace. She stands with elegance; she is at home wherever she is. The vinyl black bra she wears has a double cross strap in the front. On both arms she has freckles. A silver ring is worn on each thumb. She wears vinyl panties. Her thick semi-prehensile eighteen feet long tail tapers to a thin whip that end in a spike-like stinger. Her shiny, jet black vinyl thigh high heeled boots have four inch stiletto heels. Her long left arm holds a wicked looking longsword and her long right arm holds a wicked looking whip as they were extensions of her body.

Really, REALLY sounds like a pregnant succubus, with maybe a little vampire or werebat thrown in for good measure. To critique: the wings and tail are too long unless she's going to be about 20 feet tall, +/-.
Also: a pregnant woman in a plastic bikini? Not my idea of a fun date. Especially if she's got huge bat-like wings and a serpentine/scorpion-esque tail.
These of course are only opinions, YMMV, and we all know what opinions are like, don't we?;)

She is 6 feet, 6 inches tall in human/humanoid form. That description was original that of a vampire. The tail comes from Malcanthet's tail a long prehensile tail tipped with a spike-like stinger. I was wanting something different in they way a vampire looks. I also have a vampire that in true form is a half human/snake.
For some reason you got me wanting her to have a form that is based off of the Thessalmeria

Have no idea what Thessalmeria is. However, we are talking about what YOU want this creature to look like, so if that's what she is...
I was just spitballing, really. I liked the Deepspawn idea, and any of the others are just as viable, especially the one that the guy made up for his story, with the recombinant DNA, and such.
It all boils down to preference and what you want your players to get out of it. If you are trying to gross them out, then I assume that you know how to do that. If you are trying to kind of sneak up on them with something that looks weaker or less-threatening than it actually is, then you can figure that out, too.
I remember you saying a couple days ago that you wanted her to be a BBEG. That means that she should at least be combat worthy. She should also have a fair number of henchmen (children) so that she doesn't appear too hands-on all at once. Can't have the PCs getting too close too quickly.
I say, make her like Vampirella, or some such, until she's beaten down a bit. THEN she turns into the pregnant slug, and starts basically shooting monsters out at the party, so that they have to fight her AND the children, or die themselves.

Here is a link to the second edition verison of all the Thesslamonster. The true true form of the Mother of Monsters gives birth to her child by them coming out of her mouth. The Mother of Monster true form is the description that looked like a starfish. Thessalmonster (Monstrous Manual)

The more I think about it the more I like the humanoid version with with wings, horns, three toes with brass claws, hands with brass claws, monstrous head, glowing red eyes, and a tail that ends in sharp barbed stinger. What would you see the humanoid form's monstrous head looking like?

I am going with the description below as her other form she can assume.

From the waist up she is a gorgeous unclad woman with alabaster skin and six arms. Sprouting from her back are huge bat wings with a wingspan of eighteen feet. Her face is perfectly round from her hairline to her chin. Her light red hair with blonde highlights has plenty of curls with the front tresses framed closer to her face. The hair descends down her back to just below her waist. The ears are long with the tops of the ears being extremely pointed. Her eyes have orange irises and red scleras. Her teeth are white with sharp canine fangs protruding from her upper lips. Her breasts are of mediums size with each nipple having a small silver piercing. Her fingers are long and slender. The nails are long and fine, and cut to a sharp point. A small silver piercing pierces her navel.
From the waist down she has the body of huge green constrictor.
