Man, I have the best friends. Julian "Rabbit" Murdoch (of Gamers With Jobs) just lent me two bins of his WorldWorks buildings. For the first time ever, I'm going to be able to run credible city encounters.

Here's about half of one bin:

They are SO COOL.

Any suggestion for first encounters for a 14th lvl party?

Oh I doubt that. :p

Those do look like wicked cool buildings! I have already bookmarked the website.

A late night encounter with a pack of (rolls on the random harlot table hmm.....62) saucy tarts who are actually vampires might be appropriate.

Pretty cool, that.

You've got to incorporate the rooftops. I'm thinking some kind of demonic winged creatures that are swooping down and taking people for some Dire Purpose.

Do the roofs come off?

How about a hostage rescue? Go in SWAT-style, only to discover that the stilts of the building are inscribed with "I prepared Explosive Runes today."

The roofs do come off, and many of the buildings have multiple floors. I'm thinking about setting up a street and having a mob trickle out from between the buildings...

How about re-enacting the Koom Valley Day march that saw a mob of rowdy trolls and another mob of uppity dwarfs entering the street from opposite directions - except that instead of Captain Carrot being there to meet them, it's the PCs.
