Hitches blamed over CERN's 'faster-than-light' claim.

Umbran - yeah I knew it wasn't I was strictly posting for comic relief. :)

No worries - I felt a need to mention it, simply because I run across too much anti-intellectualism / anti-expert sentiment in real life. Not that you would think that way, but some reader out there might take you seriously.

Awe.. I was hoping they would have explained it as being a result "of the neutrino traveling through a series of wormholes caused by all the mini black holes CERN in advertantly created during its search for the Higgs Boson."

I don't know about their odds of finding the Higgs Boson, but I know a guy named Higgs who has Bison...

If CERN creates a solar powered cold fusion mini-black hole I'd like to see the Beatles re-unite somewhere about the time of the Italian Renaissance, and the Ultimates take over from the New Avengers. I just feel the Ultimates are a better match for the post-post-post-pre-modern world.

But I also think that the oscillation rates in these experiments would be better measured in Rodan Wingspans, or possibly at Chuck Norris punching speeds. Because that's how I measure such things. But, alas, you can't measure em in both... and that's the real tragedy of it.

The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principal states that the act of trying to measure the speed of a Chuck Norris punch causes instant death...

That's amazing EM. My principal was also named Heisenberg and he told me in no uncertain terms that he once saw Chuck Norris punch a man back to life by knocking him into yesterday.

Coincidences like that make me think there are no coincidences.
