Raising the Caster Level for Ethereal Mount spell

I am going to join in a ongoing game, which is now at 9th level and have 5 PCs. So, including my PC, the party will be composed of 6 PCs. And I am planning to play a Fighter/Mage type PC (Wizard/Duskblade/Spellsword/Abjurant Champion) who can cast Ethereal Mount spell (SPC) for accelerating their travel speed.

Now, the problem is, at caster level 9, a PC can only create 5 mounts per cast. I need caster level of 10 for creating 6 mounts.

What is the easiest way for my PC to raise the caster level by 1 for this spell? Ring of Arcane Might (20,000gp) is a little bit too expensive for a 9th level PC.

Taking a feat or 2 can be acceptable. But a large modification for this character's build is something I want to avoid.

The Create Magical Tattoo spell from the SpC can do it. You should probably grab an eternal wand of it or something.

Wouldn't the feat Practiced Spellcaster do the job?

Practiced Spellcaster Feat

Oops, nevermind- just noticed your issue wasn't multiclassing, but rather your absolute level being 9th.

What about casting Reduce Person, Mass? Then you COULD double up.:)

They probably want to ride for more than the nine minutes that Mass Reduce Person would last.

This sounds like a situation that wants a custom magic item. Increasing the caster level of Ethereal Mount is not a very strong effect, compared to increasing the caster level of a combat spell. A cracked orange ioun stone or cracked ring of arcane might, which functions only once per day and only on Ethereal Mount, should be much more affordable.

I seem to remember a feat that let you cast one spell at +1 caster level. My guess is that it is in Complete Arcane, but I could be wrong about that.

Those are my suggestions.

Can you acquire a chariot for the 6th PC to ride on, drawn by the 5 mounts and therefore evenly distributing the weight of the 6th PC?
