During this late summer, while there are fewer big screen options drawing my attention, I've been using the Amazon Prime streaming option to catch up on Fringe, since they have the first three seasons available.

Been watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on daily reruns.

They just started this week on the first episode from season 1.

I've probably watched every other TNG episode over the years in reruns. Never really watched through the episodes sequentially from the beginning.

The last season of Dr. House just started here in Germany. I'll be sad to see it go even if could never quite figure out why I enjoy it so much.

Was bored earlier this evening, and started watching the season 1 dvd set of the original Knight Rider.

Kinda funny watching how cheesy it was, in hindsight. Use to watch this tv show when I was a teenager.

Watching White Collar, Covert Affairs, Dead Files, Warehouse 13, Burn Notice, Doctor Who, Copper, Lost Girl.

Eagerly awaiting for; Haven, Being Human, NCIS, Star Wars:The Clone Wars, Top Gear, & The Yankees in the World Series.

I went out and saw Raiders of the Lost Arc on the IMAX and that was really worth it. Otherwise it is mostly weekends of solid football.

Watching on TV: Currently, only Doctor Who on BBC America.

Waiting to watch on TV: Castle, Big Band Theory, The Walking Dead, The Office.

Watching on DVD in the meantime: Season 5 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Well, what I'm both watching and listening to.

Lectures:

Tolkien and the West: Reclaiming Europe's Lost Literary Tradition - by Michael Drout. Mike, who teaches at Wheaton College is one of my two very favorite professors of literature in the entire country. The first lecture on the Stones, the Tower, the Sea, and the West was simply superb. The one on the Hobbit was good too.

Music:

Switchfoot - Vice Verses

Kisses on the Bottom - Paul McCartney's soft Jazz, etc album. He does a superb version of "The Glory of Love." The album is good and makes me want to relisten to "Venus and Mars."

Verdi - complete Ballets and Operas

Adele - 21

Film:

The Hunger Games

Coriolanus - watched this last night and it was a superb film version of the play I thought.

Television:

Grimm - superb season, bad intro - they should return to last year's episode intro, this one sucks

Stars Earn Stripes - good show. I hope they will continue it after the finale next week. More actors and entertainers need to learn more respect for the military and law enforcement. Todd Palin, well hell, he's all man.

Copper - that's a superb show

Inspector Lewis - I always like Hathaway better than Lewis, but I like the show.

Revolution - I'm willing to try this show out since it's by JJ Abrams

hmmm...

Battlestar Gallatica (have been wanting to see it for a long time, just now getting a chance to watch the first few episodes)

Grimm, Alphas, Warehouse 13, Burn Notice, .... I feel like I'm forgetting some stuff...

anxiously awaiting return of: Fringe, Young Justice
