The Players Guide and Campaign Guide are already out. Check the subscribers area!

The first adventure is in the layout queue. Right after To Slay A Dragon and the next ZEITGEIST adventure.

Where in the picture is Santiago? (I wonder how many people will get that).

Can you summarize the differences between this and for example Dragonstar (mostly setting related)? Any special rules for ranged weapons?

Santiago's in the post office wall Wanted holographs picture... sort of! He's two down, two across.

I'm not all that familiar with Dragonstar, I'm afraid.

There are new rules, equipment, weapons, classes. An alien race creation system. Plus a load of setting stuff.

Existing material is compatible. So you could recreate Dragonstar with it if you wanted to use fantasy elements. The default setup has no magic, though - it replaces magic with technology.

I was actually referring to the old "Where in X is Carmen Sandiego" (yes, slightly different name. Man I am old...)
Magic got replaced by technology? Is that a 1:1 translation (Spells with different names/background) or a complete new system?

I could explain it all! But even better- you could check out the free Player's Guide (that's the 4E version there)! In short - it's a "reskinning" with a few extra bits. So you could have a regular wizard standing next to a scientist, and both would be using the same rules but using different terminology. The default setting would just have the scientist, though, not the wizard.
