I'm curious; do you consider saying that Hong Kong was shown where Rio is the mistake, or is saying that the hornets aren't in Hong Kong the mistake? Because that's all he's said. I'm interested in which of those two things you think is incorrect? Though you do say English isn't your language; maybe you're misunderstanding him and think he said something else?

His example is the mistake. He chose two locations on the same continent. To replicate the errors in the pic that I posted, the second city needs to be placed on another continent, just naming an erroneous city is not sufficiant. It is pretty clear.

Yeah, you're misunderstand him. You're conflating his two separate points.

He mentioned two cities on the same continent because he was saying that claiming it was in Hong Hong when it was actually in the northern Shaanxi province was akin to saying it was in Miami when it was actually in Oklahoma. That comment had nothing to do with the continent map you posted; just that Hong Kong is not where the hornets actually are.

Not only is NewJeffCT correct, he's correct on two counts -- one that goldomark was talking about, and one that goldomark didn't notice/mention, himself.

Unless someone else posted that same map and the same question that I aksed, NewJeffCT's post had everything to do with the map and question I posted.
