D20 Toon?

The question becoems, what system out there would work best for a D20 TOON game? Maybe something based on Mutants & Masterminds, or perhaps d20 BESM? Or would people rather have a OGL Toon-based game with its own Player's Toon Guidebook, Toonmaster's Guide, Toon Compendium, etc?

I would say M&M has the best way to emulate the effects of violence against toons. That said, to name such a published game "Toon" would definitely require the permission of Steve Jackson.

Added one more feat, btw. Would anyone want to try out a demo game?

You should check the feats from Slayers D20. They confer positive and negatives. Oblivious makes you not notice things (mostly immune to intemidations, horror checks, fear effects), but requires that you pick one thing that you are super sensative about (comments concerning nose size, shoe size, your mother, your small or large endowment.....)

The feats are cool, but one extremely dumb question follows:
Would toons be pretty much be the 'base' Race of the setting, or would be more of an alternate race (giving settings a possible 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' feeling)?

And then, would it be a 'generic' race (just slap feats as you see fit to reflect one peculiar toon), or would be more defined (say, Disney toons would have this and this bonus, while WB toons would have this and this bonus)?

Just asking.

I think the races should be Black & White, Teno color (originally produce as shorts for the big screen), Saturday Morning, Weekday after noon, blockbuster, Cartoon network, anime, and CGI. This would roughly corolate with era of production, art style, and intended audience.

Then the races could be animal, antromorphic, goofy robot, giant robot, alien, monster, Hero, meddleing kids, public service, and fantasy.

If you want a "serious" cartoon (like the assorted popular anime on Cartoon Network) MnM is probably a good bet.

Sorry was away for a while, what I was aiming at was along the lines of warner brothers and saturday morning cartoons like mickey mouse and Disney. To define toon type by the production studio might be a cool idea, say Warner brothers, Disney, MGM, Universal Cartoon Studios, Cartoon Network Studios, Anime Company (too many to list), ect and there would be advantages and disadvantages basted off this.

Say for example: Warner had Daffy duck, bugs bunny as there main draw so take these as arch types from each of the studios. This would reflect a feel of that toons look and abilities and interaction with other toons, you could always opt out and be from an independent small studio.
