I'm loving this game!

I've been playing for about a year and love the game.

Sadly, my Wizard Thulgar died last session. It was probably for the best, as his negative luck combined with some epically bad rolling on my part (I never rolled so many ones for a character) had caused him to suffer a lot of disfiguration from magic wracking his body. Whenever he touched paper there was a chance it would burn (not good for a wizard with a spellbook), he had wolf ears, and was constantly shivering because he was always cold and could never get warm. The only moments he felt any warmth were when he cast flaming hands upon his enemies... and ran the risk of further corruption.

Your suffering brought a smile to my face...is that wrong?

I'm trying to start something like flailsnails with it here locally.

I have been following it for a while and aiming to pick it up for cheap on PDF. Might have to start shopping for a real copy.

Anyone know where I can get DCC, Castles and Crusades, and ACKs shipped to New Zealand at a reasonable price. I want to buy some real RPG books for once instead of PDFs. Worked 17/19 days over Christmas and New Years so I have a bit of $$$ to burn.

I have had DCC since it launched but have played it yet. It looks interesting and I plan to try it but I am playing 4e and BX for now so it will have to wait.

Okay, color me curious but what system is DCC based on? I find myself wanting to buy a copy because my RPG shelf doesn't have one. lol
