Problems with DDI

Is anyone else having difficulty login into thier DDI accounts, I was working on a character build 4 hours ago in the CB, got called away from the computer for an hour, and when I came back I had an unknown run time error, and know I am unable to log back in as WotC does not seem to recognize my username or password. I can't even log a ticket about the issue with the help desk, as that rquires a login. Getting really frustrated.

I just got a runtime error:

A friend told me it was a DDOS attack... after he tried to level up his character after tonight's session.

Our online group missed a session because of that. Ah, the perils of technology dependance.
We've all now learned to download/print a copy of our character sheets and any other material (adventures etc) that are essential.
