His eyes aren't narrow, nor is the conversation about his very dark irises. He has no irises because he has no whites in his eyes to tell if his irises are dark. All of his eyes are the same color as his skin.

Huh? The resolution isn't great but I can clearly see white around his eyes...

EDIT: He also appears to be looking off to his left...

I don't see any problem with his expression. He's a methodical goblin slayer in the zone.
Bad-Ass gob slayer's thoughts:

Huh, grindin gobs in the newb zone. Man the drop rate on gob ears really sucks. Why does only one gob in 15 have a "useable" ear. Oh well... Hey, the first group is rezzing, maybe they'll have an ear...

Now I'm going to be imagining all of the poorly clad females aren't gone from 5e art. They are just out of sight being oggled by the people we can see.

Thanks. :p

Thaumaturge.

Lol, now THAT'S what i want to see, lots of heroes getting skewered by orc blades while ogling an offscreen elf maiden hottie.

HMMMMMmmmm very interesting. I like this quite a bit.

It's not in the same league as Frazetta's S&S art, or Brom's Dark Sun stuff. It doesn't have the same dynamism. Needs more muscles. I don't quite understand how that pose and that weapon relates to the goblins being hit so hard they fly backwards and lose grip on their swords. There's also something a bit awkward/unathletic about the way his knee is caving in.

However, this is still really cool.

I like how the character is black without it feeling like somebody decided at the last minute they should make the character black.

Why is everyone saying he's wearing a turban? There's a metal headbandy-thing at his forehead, and then an amorphous black mass above that looks more like a chef's hat than a turban. It could either be the rest of his hair, or a big poofy Iconic Fantasy Rasta Hat +1.
