Does the Vorpal Sword still exists? If yes, is there any notable changes from the last playtest?
snicker snack...Indeed it does exist. I have no idea if it varies from the playtest. It has abilities commensurate to being a vorpal blade.
From what I've read on reddit they also increase the score max +2 past 20 and are "Very rare".
Very rare items. +2 to stat and +2 to maximum. No mention of stacking, so I assume they do. OTOH, how many DMs are going to let the PCs find multiple copies of a specific manual?Could you please tell us how the manuals and tomes that increase stats by +2 work in detail? do they stack what's their rarity, are there limits?
There is 1 manual each for DEX, STR, and CON. Likewise, 1 tome each for CHA, INT and WIS. Once read, each book loses its power for 100 years.Could you please tell us how the manuals and tomes that increase stats by +2 work in detail? do they stack what's their rarity, are there limits?
A Vorpal blade is +3 and ignores resistance to slashing damage. On a natural 20 the target is beheaded. A creature that's not killed outright (for example, doesn't need a head to survive or too large at the DM's option) takes 6d8 slashing damage.

are magical weapons fixed stats and shape? (e.g. vorpals are always longswords and +3, flame tongues are always long swords and +0 etc..) or they can have variations? vorpals look so much cooler as axes..Yep. Roll a natural 20 and the target head is off. The Queen of Hearts is back into town and she's out for blood.
