D&D 5E Red Hand of Doom

After reading about this celebrated module and now having read through the first bit, I really want to run this for my group as they are almost finished LMoP.

Curious if any others have attempted to convert this to 5e yet.

Anyone have any advice for running or converting it?

Do you think it would be too tough for 6 5th level (5e)PC's?

Thanks!

Red Hand is fantastic, although I'm sorry to say I never ran it. I actually prepped it, I have a big notebook full of art and maps, but for some reason, i forgot why now, we did something else (or quit gaming completely for a while).

It sits at the top of the official 3rd edition modules and it's way better than HotDQ.

Read some of the Amazon reviews, it has extremely high opinions that I agree with. I would run it for 5th edition myself, and i'm sure at some point there will be a monster conversion.

Best WotC adventure of that era, IMO. We ran through sections 1, 2, 3, & 5, setting aside the 4th section (the delve) for a later date but didn't get round to it. I suppose anything converts and it just depends on how much work it might be. I'll dig out my copy and try to pop into the thread from time to time and assist with a group conversion, if you like. Anyone else interested in coming at this as a team?

I somewhat very interested, but I'd have to dig my copy out as well and it's not immediately easy to access.

Its also been recommended to me. I hear that the writer is the same who is developing the new 5e adventure books (Elemental Evil/Princes of the Apocalypse).
Id like to know more about it.
