New dungeon mapping style.

I am trying to develop a nice style for my dungeon maps. I will probably make a whole lot of them so it'd be nice to have a good style. I am aiming for a professional look so all comments/critique welcome.

At first look it's a bit too light/bright for my taste. Also, if you want to apply shadows, please do so consistently. Decide on how you want to represent lightning. for a dungeon map, light/shadow isn't necessary IMHO.

Thanks for your input! I thought the shadows were quite ok. Can you please tell me what's wrong? Do you think the shadows look different from one object to another?

I think your dungeon map style is sufficiently professional, in many ways similar to how I do it. While I can agree somewhat that the light colored background between the walls, seems too light to me, that's a personal choice and not really a criticizm. You can view maps of mine here at ENWorld, as well as at the Cartographers' Guild which I am a long time member as well. I also do cartography professionally for various RPG game publishers, including Paizo Publishing, and most recently creating all the multi-player maps in the Brady Games strategy guide for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - so I am qualified to recognize quality work. Yours certainly is quality work.

I think he's noticing that the table and chairs in the center room do not seem to have any shadow, unlike the beds and other objects.
