Now that Father Spec has pointed out the beehive, how big are we talking? Can I estimate its weight?

I'm asking as I'm considering using Mage Hand to move it out of the room and go lock it in the other antechamber where the book and pedestal were. Maybe we can avoid a fight against a swarm of bees.

The hive is two feet long, and is wider at the top than at the bottom. The hive tapers from its fullest diameter of 2' at its top, to its tip. The hive weighs under ten pounds. Mage hand will work to manipulate the bee hive, since the hive weighs less than ten pounds. The problem, however, is that the hive hangs down from the underside center of the oak table; the bees "glued" the top of the hive to the underside of the table. Fulgrim (or someone else) will need a means of freeing the hive from the table--hopefully without disturbing the bees--before Fulgrim can move it to the antechamber.

I wasn't sure exactly how much pressure Mage Hand would produce, but I'm guessing it isn't enough to pull it from the table. Hmmm... I'll ponder a bit more. Burning Hands would have been nice right about now. :(

"Um, I have a crowbar you could borrow. But I'd prefer to stand back if you try it. Before we leave this place. Is it the honey you're after?"

I can think of a definite way to do it pretty safely but I don't want to tip my hand.

Did you mean for this post to be in the IC? If you're like me, you sometimes check in via notifications on your smartphone, which can somehow make it hard to know what thread one is posting to. One time, I posted an OOC post in Tailspinner's RG. Yeah. He liked that a lot. :(

Actually, is Father Spec trapped? Or could he get out without us messing with the bee hive? I may be misunderstanding.
Nope, Spec isn't trapped. He's just standing on the other side of the table.

Hrmm... I assume everyone got the message from Tuxgeo? That's a bummer. What's our next step? Are we looking to recruit again or just roll on and figure out other ways to deal with traps and locks?

Your consulting detective Father Spec has some ability in the area. He's no rogue, but he'll help where he can.

But yes, it is too bad about Tuxgeo.
