I heard from tuxgeo (I'm glad he appears to have sent the same message to all of us and not just to the DM), and replied that it was my intent to NPC Guran for a while before shunting him completely from the game. I'd like to give Morrus and PirateCat some time to see if they can work out whatever error may be preventing tuxgeo from accessing the site. My hope is that if the situation can be resolved, tuxgeo might return to full-time posting.

Hey, all: I've been labeling Perception rolls differently, depending on what kind of Perception check I'm calling for. When I call for passive Perception, I've been attempting to consistently label the sblocked information "Passive Perception DC XX." Conversely, when I call for an actual die roll, I've been labeling the sblocked information "Wisdom (Perception) DC XX." Your PC is entitled to read and know the former when his passive Perception score meets or exceeds the DC (no die roll required). Your PC is entitled to read and know the latter, however, when his Wisdom (Perception) die roll meets or exceeds the DC listed.

I realize all of you read all of the sblocked text, regardless of the spoiler tags. No problem. Just make sure you make an effort not to have your PC act on info in the sblocks that he didn't know by virtue of either his passive Perception score or his Wisdom (Perception) die roll. It occurred to me today that I hadn't been very clear in my usage of labels for the different kinds of Perception checks; thus, this post.
