I know. It's so great to be so spoiled for choice!

Just so long as they don't make *too* many, such that none of them gets enough in the ratings to last for a decent length of time.

I am beginning to think I might like to see... Marvel and DC each do a "comics hour timeslot" show - each series does, say, 12 episodes a year, and they trade off the timeslot among several series. It would allow them to keep the stories for each nice and tight, without need for 'filler' episodes. So, you could have the Flash/Arrow/Supergirl hour (Yes, I know they are on different networks - not my fault they did that, the Agents of Shield/Agent Carter/Mockingbird hour, and so on. Kind of like Marvel is doing on Netflix, actually....

Here Flash and Arrow run back to back in an 830 -1030 timesslot and its awesome. It looks like Legends is taking Flashes off season slot and the network has Agents of Sheild filling Arrows off season.

Btw theres also an 80s Flash marathon oncable tomorrow which has me excited...

I'd say we're most likely to see the usual Hollywood/Network Television issue crop up at some point; churning out crap that fits the formula, then wondering why it failed. TV has gone in cycles like this in the past. You start out with good genre TV and eventually the airwaves are full of crap, making the average viewer lose interest in even the good stuff.

Moral: Be happy with what we have now :)

DC should totally do a "Showcase '16" series next year then every year do that... 12 hour long eps and 22 1/2 hour long ones... then mix them up...
