Howdy,
A few months ago I bought a huge lot of gaming materials from a guy getting out of gaming. Nestled amongst the numerous boxes was a set of cards still wrapped in celophane with the D&D logo on the back. The card on the back says "Apathy" at the top, then it says "Clumsy" followed by: Until you overcome this despair effect, whenever you roll a natural 1 on an attack roll, a skill check, or a saving throw, you fall prone.
Key Skill: Acrobatics. If you are trained in Acrobatics, you gain a +2 bonus to the roll to overcome this despair effect.
Then on the bottom in white ink on a black background facing the opposite direction it reads:
Boon: After you overcome this despair effect, you can reroll a natural 1 on an attack roll once per encounter. This benefit lasts until the end of your next extended rest.
It is pretty clearly intended for use with 4th edition - I just have no idea what they are. I did not want to open the cards in case they are more valuable to someone in new condition.
I was hoping someone on here knew what they are. Any help is appreciated.
