I didn't say it isn't good, it's just that it doesn't really mesh with the way the other race-specific DCs are laid out. There is always a base number and a bonus. There should be a charm bonus for a higher charisma. A flat 14 is not going to be that useful later on when you have creatures with +8 saves or what have you.

Fey Charm is to be used also as a social tool, there will always be guards who may be suggestible.

Do not think only in combat.
 



This is broken the fey charm ability if kept needs to be reduced in duration to minutes or an hour at most, it should also follow the established DC formula 8+charisma modifier+proficiency bonus.

As written it doesn't scale the DC, and potentially you could lock down a creature as a permanent ally by reusing it day after day.
