D&D 5E MPMB's D&D 5e Character Tools

Thank you for your answer ^_^
Indeed no problem adding it manually, at the beginning I was trying to look for a subdivision under the race-tab for different Dragonborn choices: Dragonborn (Bronze), Dragonborn (Gold) etc like the various Shifters, but not finding any clue about it I dared to ask :P
Thanks again for your work!
Good news! I have added this feature in the new version (v9.5) because implementing the Sword Coast Adventure Guide will require this function of the sheet.

BUG REPORT: Form-fillable character sheet is incorrectly populating the Abjure Enemy (Channel Divinity) from the Oath of Vengeance (Paladin 3) archetype with the text for the Sacred Weapon (Channel Divinity) from the Oath of Devotion (Paladin 3) archetype.

Stellar character and spell sheets ... love the newest mods you've added including color swaps.
Thank you, great to hear you like the new features! Your bug report is just a little bit too late, Panzermeyer beat you to it ;) This issue has been fixed in v9.4.

Just wanted to say a few things:
I am not entirely dead.
I have read up and approve of everything gleefully.
Excellent job on the Oath of Vengeance fix!
This is orgasmically amazing. Keep up the great work.
Good thing you liked the Oath of Vengeance fix, it was yours to begin with. I must have copied the wrong text for that feature when I was implementing your fixes.

Found the following issue in SL generator 6.2 : cleric with light domain : the light cantrip is not added.

Keep up the excellent work !
Not a bug per se, because choosing a domain only adds the domain spells, not any other spells/cantrips gained from any other feature. There is only room for 10 spells to be added when selecting a subclass, so I cannot easily make the light cantrip something that is added automatically. Thus, this will not be something that will change anytime in the near future.

The 1oz ink bottle is labeled as costing 1 gp. It costs 10.
A day of rations costs 5 sp, not 1.
Thanks for fact-checking these! It is corrected in v9.5.

Great charsheet! Using v9.3 and v9.4 of your sheet, on Windows 7, using the last update of Adobe Reader DC (2015.009.20071), sometimes it takes a while for the form fields to appear.

On Android, Adobe Reader 15.2.2 freezes when a field is changes that triggers a calculation (e.g. choosing a weapon), I need to force close. Android Lollipop 5.1.1, on a Galaxy Tab S2.

Keep up the good work! :)
Great to read you like it! The latest version have some more redundant code to make sure all things are correct every time you open the sheet. This takes some more resources, but otherwise some functions would only work when you enter your characters details, not after re-opening the sheet. How slow your experience of the sheet is, is fully dependent on the speed of your PC (or the speed your PC allows Acrobat to run).

As for the Android issue, I am unable to replicate it. I'm running Lollipop 5.0.1 with Adobe Reader for Mobile devices 15.2.2, and it doesn't freeze with the latest version of the sheet, although I have had that happen to me sometimes with older versions. I'm not sure what's causing it, because there are almost no calculations that it could trigger considering the fact that it ignores all document-level scripts.

This brings us to the new version:
Character Sheet/Generator v9.5 (26-10-2015) has the following changelog:
- Added the option to select the background feature independent from the background via a dropdown box on page 2
- Added the option to select racial options such as the Dragonborn Draconic Bloodline, Human variant, Minotaur types, and Shifters, using a button on the second page (or by typing it into the race field). More of these will be added when adding the racial options from Sword Coast Adventure Guide (SCAG)
- Added the Duergar racial option from the SCAG previews
- The buttons to select racial options and class features on the second page are now hidden if there’s nothing to select
- Fixed some bugs with the Barbarian “Endless Rage” feature
- Enhanced the performance of the reset button
- Fixed some prices of the gear (thanks to Noah Ivaldi for noticing)

Been a while since I've posted anything here, but we haven't played in about a month. After last night's session, I noticed a few things

1) I mentioned something of a bug several pages ago, but this seems to have slipped through. When you have a class, like Eldritch Knight 6, and you level up by adding XP, you get a popup asking you if you want to upgrade level, or downgrade XP. You say upgrade level, your level increases to 7. But you remain an Eldritch Knight 6, and your abilities and HD are still those of a level 6 character. Instead of
HTML:
[Upgrade Level] / [Downgrade XP] / [Cancel]

HTML:
Select which class to upgrade level
[Class 1] / ... / [Class n] / [New Class]
-----
[Downgrade XP] / [Cancel]

2) It would be super convenient if the 'attack' weapons could have the little red boxes allowing them to be moved up/moved down/insert line/clear line/delete line

3) 'Inventorize' Gems and other valuables, similar to

(from left to right, name, amount, value)

Hi Headbomb,

You have some good ideas as always!

1) I like the idea of the attacks having options to move them.

2) As for the pop-up on level-up, I already addressed this several pages ago as a responds to your post. If you have only one class, you shouldn't put your class level in the class field. You should just use the Level box in the top left and then when you go up a level by updating your XP total, all the class features are updated automatically as well. If you have multiple classes, you will indeed have to manually update one of them to get its features updated. I'll think about making a pop-up for this, but it is not as easy as it sounds. Also, I don't feel like this is a big issue for most users.

3) The gems and other valuables section is quite intentionally left to be an open area, because who knows how much descriptive space you'll need? If it would be made into an inventory as you suggest, it would probably only contain 2 or 3 columns of two lines each. I don't know if that would be such an improvement, although I get where you're coming from with the 'value' column, that one would be quite handy. Maybe I can think of a way to add it to the 'Extra Equipment' section? Or would it perhaps be better served in the Other Holdings section?

On another note, are there any people who want to contribute to transcribing the SCAG material for this sheet? I don't have a copy (yet) and don't know when I'll have the time to add the text, but if people want to help, I'm sure we can have all the material working in no time :)

I've moved my PCs over to your sheet and I'm pleased with how they've come out.

I noticed however that my Bard is gaining Countercharm at 5th level when I believe it's supposed to be at 6th.

Anyway, keep up the good work and thank you!

A simpler implementation then might be simply to change the level up notice to read 'You have now reached Level N. You will need # XP to reach level N+1. If you want to multiclass, write CURRENTCLASS N-1 / "New Class" 1 in the class field. Multiclass characters will need to manually update their class levels."

Personally, I've never encountered a valuable that went beyond a simple "Sapphire (500 gp x 8), "Jade Figurine (750 gp)", "Golden Bracelet (250 gp)". I suppose I can imagine a "Letter of Credit (Johan Gampolputty de von Ausfern... of Ulm) - 5000 gp", but I'm almost certain I'd never put it in a general valuables section given it can't be traded as easily as gems and coins.

Or I'd keep it to a simple "Letter of Credit - 5000 gp" in that section, with a more detailed description in my notes. "Letter of Credit issued by the Bank of Johan Gampolputty de von Ausfern ... of Ulm for 5000 gp. The letter will be accepted by any merchants and guild in Waterdeep at full value. Merchants not from Waterdeep may accept it depending on how far and how often they deal with Waterdeep, albeit at a reduced value in most cases."

On multiclassing: Could you put in a code to make sure that the level in the level box equals the sum of the levels of the multiclasses? I haven't fooled around with multiclassing on the sheet yet so that might already be in there. If it is, please ignore. Thx.

Hi MorePurple!

I'm new here. Found your sheet last week and i'm in love with it!
Such a great work got me thinking: Is there any project to translate your sheet to another language/system?

I mean, it isn't a problem at all, but would be nice to have an alternative, for example, metric system instead pounds and feet.
I would be willing to help if necessary! ;)

Keep the great work!
Thank You!

I also can help with the translating in case you want to do it (italian version) :D

About SCAG I would help, but I don't have the book and don't think to buy it soon :(
But if we get the infos to implement in the sheet, I am glad to help
