Having seen a bunch of these threads in action, the difference between a survivor thread and a pure poll (or a bracket) is that survivor threads tend to weed out "extreme" choices fairly quickly. In other words, there are people that really dislike overpowered feats. And there are people that really dislike underpowered feats. There's also a lot more strategic voting. And people love killing off options (FATALITY) when they drop too low.

So it's not about power. It's more that you want to be "acceptable" to a lot of people ... but not ... too acceptable. If I had to guess, I would assume that no "overpowered" feat would win, but no "underpowered" feat will win either.

Agree, but that is what I think was funny, human variant and half-elf are probably the most powerful classes in the corebooks, they shouldn't finish the battle.
